I have Yale and a mutual friend to thank for first introducing me to Sandy in 2004 and then the gritty city of NY and its competitive rental market for bringing us together in 2007 in our starter apartment in the East Village.  We spent countless hours  that first year exploring the city together, watching awful TV next to the "pole of death", and scouting out winning eggs benedict and cupcakes.

My fondest moments with Sandy are not specific memories per se, but just us being together like sisters, laughing at "no bueno", "no way jose", and "awkward turtle" moments.

My parents and destiny gave me the opportunity to meet Sandy almost 28 years ago. Sandy is my only sister and one of the people that has inspired me the most. My accomplishments come as a result of my parents' hard work and my sister's positive attitude and great example. I have many fond memories with Sandy that range from her giving me a black eye playing tennis on one of my birthdays (it was truly an accident) to me falling on a trail and tearing a ligament and Sandy getting lost for two hours seeking help for me. None of these memories though can compare to us planning our weddings together right now and sharing these amazing moments! Love you boo!

Sandy and I met at college during freshman orientation. We quickly became friends and unofficial roommates. Some of my favorite memories with Sandy include: sharing Sandy's excitement the first time it snowed in New Haven, nights in with Sex and the City and Chinese food, Sunday night dance parties, tricking Sandy into trying Indian food (she liked it!), walking around Prospect Park, and embracing our inner child at Disneyland.

I first met Sandy six (!) years ago when she agreed, sight unseen, to share an apartment with Khay and me. And so our grand adventure began, in a shoebox apartment with a windowless room and sloping floors. Since then, I have had so many great memories with Sandy-- among them gratuitous photoshoots in the park, brunches galore, a roadtrip to Lake George that resulted in an embarrassing kayak capsizing episode--and have adopted so many Sandy-isms (Woof, Buzz's girlfriend, awkward turtle) that I can't imagine life without them. But my favorite memories are all those evenings we spent in our starter NYC apartment, watching Mexican soap operas, getting burned by the pole of death that ran through our "living room," discussing heavy topics and, above all, laughing like mad.
